Pop & LolliTM for (It’s) Chic 2 ChangeTM is partnering with I Am Changing The World to promote and highlight the difference every individual can make to preserve our society, environment and wildlife. Together we believe that “If we educate, enable and empower individuals we naturally change the factors that influence their lives.” This creates an upward cycle of improvement through every generation.
Frequent strikes of millions of public workers for weeks on end, combined with some dire statistics of an average of a 20% pass rate in Math , Science and English as 2nd Language, means that most public schools in South Africa aren't coping to provide the necessary means to equip kids with the right knowledge and tools for a brighter future.
With each donation, (It’s) Chic 2 ChangeTM will work with its partners in South Africa to evaluate each individual recipient according to their most important educational needs. Donations include any of the following:
Agricultural Provisions:
Earth Box is a self-contained, portable, and re-usable fruit and vegetable gardening system which not only feeds a hungry child but teaches agricultural skills and provides potential income to sell any surplus.
Academic Support:
A tutoring DVD providing reliable resources and educational materials, which are often lacking in the schools, to guarantee the students a quality education and improve their knowledge and overall pass rate in any subject.
General Supplies:
TV, DVD player, Computer, Internet for a year. School Backpack supplies such as pens, pencils, paper etc.
